Faith Naked Venus Mahogany FKVMG
The Venus is the now iconic shape that brought Faith Guitars to the consciousness of so many players over the years. The combination of a 15" lower bout and a slimmer depth of body looks to classic OM or Auditorium body-shapes for inspiration, and makes the Venus the perfect compromise.
Faith All-Mahogany models deliver a clear tone which is very sweet and woody with plenty of mid-range articulation. Using Mahogany for both the top and body of a guitar makes for a very “friendly” instrument that responds well to hard picking, strumming and finger-style techniques alike. Further to this, the sound produced is unburdened by overly audible overtones and harmonics, so they perform brilliantly when recording. The FKVMG is equipped with a Fishman Presys1 preamp system which features a contour EQ control, Volume control, Phase button and an integrated tuner.
The Mahogany of the Faith Venus Mahogany instruments is 100% solid tonewood - in keeping with all other Faith series. However, the cosmetics and non-essential dressing has been stripped away, leaving the guitars in their natural, Naked state. Satin finished all over, the tonewood is almost entirely unrestricted in its resonant movement, so the tone delivered is far beyond what is normally expected at this price level.
This Faith Guitar is fitted with a Fishman Isys-T preamp (named Presys-T from 2019), and sonicore pickup. The output jack is combined with the strap button with a battery box fitted to the base of the guitar. The preamp features a Tuner, a contour button - choosing a flat EQ or a scooped EQ , and a phase button.
All Naked guitars are now supplied with a padded Faith Gigbag.
